How to Become a Member of the Association
Membership in the National Association of DanceSport (НАСТ)
Anyone who shares the goals and mission of the National Association of DanceSport (NADS) is welcome to become part of our community.
Membership is voluntary and open to individuals and organizations involved in dance sport who wish to actively contribute to the development of the sport and the dance community.
1. Associate Membership (Free)
Associate Membership (Free)
Available free of charge to:
- Active athletes;
- Active coaches and adjudicators.
Eligibility Requirements
To be admitted as an Associate Member, you must:
- Be actively involved in dance sport training or competition;
- Submit a membership application;
- Provide:
- A valid competitor's or adjudicator's license/card (where applicable);
- A valid identification document;
- Proof of participation in at least five (5) official competitions during the relevant calendar year as an athlete, coach, or adjudicator;
- Submit an annual declaration confirming that you continue to meet the eligibility requirements for Associate Membership.
Rights of Associate Members
Associate Members may:
- Participate in all initiatives, programs, and educational activities organized by the National Association of DanceSport (HACT);
- Submit proposals and opinions;
- Attend the General Assembly in an advisory capacity (without voting rights);
- Receive information about the Association's activities.
In accordance with the Association's Statutes, Associate Members do not have voting rights at the General Assembly and are not eligible to be elected to the Association's governing bodies.
2. Regular Membership (With Membership Fee)
Regular Membership
Regular Membership is open to:
- Parents or legal guardians of dancers;
- Former athletes;
- Former coaches;
- Former adjudicators;
- Individuals and legal entities that share the goals and mission of the National Association of DanceSport (HACT).
The membership fee is determined by a decision of the Board of Directors, in accordance with the Association's Statutes.
Rights of Regular Members
Regular Members have the right to:
- Participate in the governance of the Association;
- Attend and vote at the General Assembly;
- Elect and be elected to the governing bodies of the Association;
- Submit proposals and recommendations;
- Receive support and protection of their legitimate interests;
- Participate in all initiatives, programs, and activities of the National Association of DanceSport (HACT).
3. Honorary Membership
Honorary Membership may be granted to individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the development of dance sport or have rendered exceptional service to the National Association of DanceSport (NADS).
Honorary Membership is awarded by a decision of the Board of Directors.
Honorary Members are exempt from paying membership fees. Their rights and privileges are determined by the Board's decision granting the membership and by the provisions of the Association's Statutes.
Membership Categories in the National Association of DanceSport (HACT)
Membership
The National Association of DanceSport (HACT) brings together athletes, coaches, adjudicators, parents, clubs, and everyone who shares our commitment to the development and promotion of dance sport in Bulgaria.
Membership in the Association is voluntary and governed by the Statutes of HACT.
Free Associate Membership
Free Associate Membership is available to all active athletes and active coaches who are actively engaged in dance sport training and/or competition at the time of application.
Eligibility Requirements
To become an Associate Member of HACT, applicants must:
- Complete a membership application form;
- Declare acceptance of the Association's Statutes, mission, and principles;
- Provide a valid competitor's license or adjudicator's license (where applicable);
- Provide a valid identification document;
- Declare participation in at least five (5) official competitions included in the national competition calendar during the relevant calendar year, as an athlete, coach, or adjudicator.
At the end of each calendar year, Associate Members must submit a declaration to the Board of Directors confirming that they continue to meet the eligibility requirements. This declaration must be accompanied by a report of their activities throughout the year, demonstrating fulfillment of their declared commitments within the national competition calendar.
Associate Membership is free of charge.
Associate Members may participate in all NADS initiatives, educational programs, training courses, and activities, submit proposals and opinions, and attend the General Assembly in an advisory capacity.
In accordance with the Association's Statutes, Associate Members do not have voting rights at the General Assembly and are not eligible to serve on the Association's governing bodies.

- Individuals and legal entities that support the Association's mission and wish to actively contribute to its development.

How to Apply
Applications for membership are submitted by completing the online application form available on the official HACT website.
After submission, the Board of Directors reviews each application and issues a decision within one month.
By submitting an application, the applicant declares that they accept the Statutes of NADS, share the Association's mission and principles, and agree to comply with the decisions of its governing bodies.
